We have not generated anything novel in the contents that are available to you in the form of e-Library Support rather we have collected, scrutinized, validated and then compiled set of information on a course/program. Credits and Engaged Learning Hours
A credit is equivalent to 30 hours of engaged study known as Engaged Study Hours. The Distance Learners are able to plan and schedule their study plans for the successful completion of the courses in a specified time duration. Credits that are in practice across various levels of programmes are as follows:

* Engaged Learning Hours reflects involvement of each distance learner with the study for about 6 hours a day and for 180 working days (if a programme is of 1 year duration) while for any programme of 6months duration, then Distance Learners are expected to be engaged for about 90 working days. The learning hours are exclusive of 8 hours a day based PCP (Personal Contact Programme) of 25 days .
